I am a Center
for Living Systems Fellow at the University of Chicago. I am
interested in studying soft condensed matter, active matter and living
systems, using tools from statistical physics. At UChicago, I am
currently studying the phase transitions in non-reciprocal systems,
with a non-reciprocal XY model as a minimal model, with Professor Vincenzo
Vitelli. The problems I have worked on include the scaling
behavior in the social interaction of honeybees and humans, and the
persistent noise-driven odd elastic waves in the living crystal of
starfish embryos. I keep looking for interesting problems.
I got a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, advised by Professor Nigel Goldenfeld. More about me and my work can be found in my CV as well as the research and publication tab, and my Google Scholar page. Codes used for my work can be found in my GitHub page.
